Neighborhood Watch
Deerfield Watch is the neighborhood crime watch program available to residents of the Deerfield Community. The Watch offers a fast and effective way for information to be passed to our residents. Notifying our neighbors of potential safety issues and reported crime within our community is our job.Safety Information:
Tips from the Troopers:
- When you buy a new TV, firearm, GPS unit, or any other expensive items, please make sure that you dispose of these boxes by shredding them, or folding them inside out for recycle/garbage pickup. Leaving out a huge TV box is just advertisement for items in your home.
- Lock your car doors!
- Don’t leave garages open and unattended.
- Leave porch lights on, or install motion lights.
- Install video cameras, if possible.
What the Troopers need from the residents:
- Continue to be the eyes and ears of the neighborhood.
- Report suspicious activity. Resident Troopers: 301-600-4151 (Barrack) OR 301-898-0200 (Town Hall Voice Mail)
