Deerfield is a Neighborhood Watch Community. The Watch offers a fast and effective way for information to be passed to our residents. Notifying our neighbors of potential safety issues and reported crime within our community is our job. If you would like to be included in our Neighborhood Watch email system please send an email including your name, your address, and the email to which you would like your Watch Alerts sent, to DeerfieldMDWatch@gmail.com .  There are absolutely no requirements aside from residing in Deerfield! If a street light is out near your home, please note the number of the light post and call the Town at 301-845-4500.

Recycle curbside pick-up will be every other week on Monday per Frederick County’s recycling schedule. Recyclables must be placed at the curb no later than 6 am of the day of collection. Please place cart with the lid facing the street, four feet from possible obstructions. Please note: Your curbside collection is through Frederick County. Customer service matters should be directed to them by calling 301-600-2960.  Recycle bins may be placed at the curb on Sunday night.  Bins should be brought back in as soon as possible, but no later than Monday night.  Recycle bins should be stored out of sight.

Trash collection is provided by the Town on Wednesdays. Place containers and bundles at the curb before 7:00 a.m.  Trash bins may be place at the curb on Tuesday night.   Bins should be brought back in as soon as possible, but by Wednesday night at the latest.  Reminder that trash bins should be stored out of sight.
