About Us

Deerfield is located in the town of Walkersville in northern Frederick County MD.  Just north and east of Frederick, MD, Deerfield is an Ausherman built community of 284 lots and is known as one of the nicest places to live in the Frederick area.  Started in 1987, Deerfield was built in stages and completed in the year 2000.  Most homes are 3 or 4 bedrooms, with nice sized lots.  The community has sidewalks in all areas, with wide streets and graceful streetlamps adding a classic look.
Facilities
Deerfield has limited HOA facilities, keeping dues very low.  Deerfield does have sidewalks through several common areas, providing a safe and convenient walking area.  Other than the common areas, a nice tot lot playset and swings provide a nice attraction for young children.
Schools
Deerfield children attend Frederick County schools: Glade Elementary, Walkersville Middle School and Walkersville High School.  See the Frederick County Public School System web page for more information.
